Step 1:
To remove and store your Rod Rig, simply pinch the raised tabs on either side of the suction cups toward the center of the mount. This action deforms the suction cup just enough to break the seal, allowing you to easily pull that side away from the vehicle glass. Repeat this process for the opposite side to fully remove the unit.
Step 2:
To collapse the Rod Rig for storage, firmly hold both ends of the unit's extrusions. Slide the smaller extrusion into the larger one to minimize the assembly's width. As you slide the parts together, depress the spring button; it will pop into the hole on the larger extrusion, locking both sections securely in place.
Step 3:
Now that your Rod Rig is securely locked in its collapsed position, place the protective yellow covers back over the rubber suction cups. You may need to slightly deform the suction cup to ensure the tabs on the cover snap securely into place. These covers protect the suction cups from debris and deformation, ensuring a reliable seal when you reinstall your Rod Rig for your next fishing adventure.
